Key Skills & Background Required
- Trade Qualification: Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Commercial Vehicle trade certificate.
- Experience: Proven background diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of heavy transport trucks and trailers.
- Fleet Experience: Exposure across all major truck brands is essential, with a background or specific experience working on Volvo trucks considered highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Strong capabilities in advanced diagnostics, major component changes, electrical fault-finding, and pneumatic brake systems.
- Licences & Tickets: * Valid Australian Driver's Licence (Heavy Rigid (HR) or Multi-Combination (MC) licence is highly desirable).
- Forklift (LF) ticket is preferred.
- Safety Focus: A commitment to strict safety protocols and maintaining a clean, hazard-free workshop.
